Formation Flying Training
Ground School
Formation Flying Ground School will be taught by our FAST (Formation and Safety Training) qualified Check and Lead Pilots.
One Day Class: 5 hours of classroom training, will cover the basics of formation flying, including:
- The "bearing line" and relative motion
- Military formations:
fingertip parade, diamond, echelon
- Breakups, rejoins
- Wingman and Leader responsibilities
- Individual and Section takeoffs and landings
- "Overhead" 360 pattern entry for landing
- Communications (radio / hand signals)
- Missing Man Formation Flights
- Airshow Formation Flying
- Formation Training Instruction available
- FAST Qualification / Training, Check Rides for Wingman / Leader available

August 15th (Sun 9am-3pm) or
September 25th (Sat 9am-3pm) or
October 16th (Sat 9am-3pm) or
November 5th (Fri 9am-3pm)
