We plan on flying the C-45H, T-28C, and L-17A to the March ARB Show; Then attending the PSAM annual "Gathering of Mentors" in the T-34A Usually 12-15 T-34 Mentors line their flight line for the weekend. Click here for more details;
Set up 0900; 10-12 Merit Badge 12-2pm for lunch and flights 2-4pm to conclude the merit badge and restow all the tables / gear and secure. Alpine Troop 105 so far.
Parade starts at 10am and moves along a 0.6 mile route from Serra High School through the main commerical area of Tierra Santa and dispures on Farb Middle School. Participants are offered refreshments and fresh fruit at Road Runner Park. BBQ Dinner is held 4-8pm followed by Fireworks at 8:15pm at the Tierrasanta Community Park; Hani Shatila is POC (858) 268-0044 Glen Elliot has us registered. Bring a bag of candy to toss.
Possibly attend w/ Military Vehicles, Mig 21 Cockpit Photo booth and the Paint Ball Arcade as a vendor. May participate with the T-34 San Diego Salute T-34 Formation Team.

Plan on Wednesday night (11 Oct) meet at hangar at 6 pm to shuttle Mig21, and Army Vehicles over. Drivers welcome!
Thursday am, fly T-28 (0830 arrival) and then L-29 (1045 arrival) over. Party THU and FRI night at the Miramar O Club.
Fri - Sun we need volunteers for Mig21 Cockpit Photo duty. We will shuttle over each am at 0700 if you want a ride and then back to Gillespie when the show ends. Contact Jim O (858) 414 6258 for a ride.

Daylight Savings Time ends Saturday night (you gain an extra hour in the desert!)
Meet at the WWAM Hangar at 0700 for a planned departure at 0730. Out HWY 67 to 78 to S2 and down to the Gas Station in Borrego to meet Glen and the deset rats at 1000. Parade starts at 1100. Then out into the Ocotilla Wells for some trail rides and back to San Diego after dark.

Can't miss the Monster Truck Jam at the "Q". Loads of Pickup Trucks, Gun Racks, and Noise! We meet at Fillippis Pizza on Friars Road at 4:30pm for a group pizza bash, then off to the Q for Monster Jam!

March Field Air Museum Tour and Vietnam War Dogs Memorial Event
The OC, IE, and SD groups join up to see the Marine Dog Handlers take hits / bites from their Military Working Dogs! Starts at 11am, lets plan on arriving at 0930-1000;
We are taking our in our "new" C-45H. Yuma is a one day show. We will head out on Friday night from San Diego. All 7 seats are committed to WWAM donors. Larry B is flying in his T-34, Mark B in his T-28, and Rick Morrisson in his AD-4.
Glen Elliot is the POC. Parade usually starts at 10 - 11am and runs up / down 5th and 6th Ave in Balboa Park (West of the 163). The green Military Vehicles fit right in! Lots of Rain and Irish Music in 2006! You don't have to drink or be Irish to fit in!
